Please join us on 6/10/16 8:30 AM EST for the SMART COMMUNITIES SUMMIT at POLK STATE COLLEGE CENTER FOR PUBLIC SAFETY – 1251 Jim Keene Blvd., Winter Haven. 

Team leaders will share the exciting, collaborative work of Polk Vision’s Broadband team. Guest speakers from public & private industries will discuss the importance of building smart communities and how affordable, high speed internet access will make Polk the best place to learn, live, work and play.

Polk County School Summit Oct 29 at 8am

The 2016 Polk County School Summit will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park Meeting Room. Refreshments will be served from 7:30-8:00 a.m., and at a break during the ascent. The Summit will be broadcast by PGTV.

CEDS Committee Meeting – Sept 24 at 10am

The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Committee Meeting will be held on September 24th at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Florida Regional Planning Council (CFRPC). The address is 555 East Church Street, Bartow, FL 33830.

HRTPO Meeting July 29th Cancelled

The Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) will NOT conduct a meeting on July 29, 2015.  The next meeting will be held on August 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Sebring at the Highlands County Government Center in the Commission Chambers.
