Polk County School Summit Oct 29 at 8am

The 2016 Polk County School Summit will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park Meeting Room. Refreshments will be served from 7:30-8:00 a.m., and at a break during the ascent. The Summit will be broadcast by PGTV.

MV Transportation to start as CTC Nov 1

Starting November 1, 2015 a new Community Transportation Coordinator, MV Transportation, Inc., will provide transportation services to Hardee, Highlands, and Okeechobee Counties through the statewide Transportation Disadvantaged Program and federally funded public transportation services. Previously, transportation services were scheduled by TransDev Transportation, Inc.

HRTPO Meeting July 29th Cancelled

The Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) will NOT conduct a meeting on July 29, 2015.  The next meeting will be held on August 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Sebring at the Highlands County Government Center in the Commission Chambers.
