Stewart Appointed Chair of Technical Committee for HRTPO

Arcadia, FL (September 21, 2015) – Town Administrator of Arcadia, Terry Stewart was appointed as chair of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) at the committee’s first meeting on August 19, 2015 in Sebring. Todd Miller, planning director of Hardee County, will serve as vice-chair.

HRTPO Meeting July 29th Cancelled

The Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) will NOT conduct a meeting on July 29, 2015.  The next meeting will be held on August 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Sebring at the Highlands County Government Center in the Commission Chambers. New Transportation Organization Seeks Input on Public Participation

(July 1, 2015) – The Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) serving DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands and Okeechobee Counties is seeking public comment on a draft Public Participation Plan for a period of 45 days, ending on August 15, 2015. After the comment period closes and all input has been considered, a final Public Participation Plan will be presented for adoption to the HRTPO Board with at least seven (7) days public notice.

HRTPO Draft Public Participation Plan is now available for public comments

The Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) serving DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands and Okeechobee Counties is pleased to present the draft Public Participation Plan for a public comment period. The 45 day comment period will end on August 15, 2015. The HRTPO welcomes all comments on the proposed Public Participation Plan.
