About the event
Polk County is in the process of preparing its Five-Year Consolidated Plan. Required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Consolidated Plan provides a strategy for addressing community development needs and determines the actions, activities, and resources that will be used to address community housing needs.
Activities eligible for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for low- and moderate- income families and neighborhoods include:
Community services
Economic development assistance
Improvements to public infrastructure and facilities
