Draft Amendments To The City Of Okeechobee Comprehensive Plan And Land Development Code
Notice is hereby given that the City of Okeechobee City Council will hear a presentation from the Central Florida Regional Planning Council addressing proposed draft amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code, at its meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., at the Okeechobee City Hall, Council Chambers, 55 SE 3rd Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida. Discussion will include review of the draft amendments including a new Economic Development Comprehensive Plan Element, updates to the City’s sign code, and amendments addressing inconsistencies and disaster resiliency. The meeting is open to the public and all interested persons are encouraged to attend.
